Hi, I am having the same problem as Dave with scrollbars appearing momentarily (especially on the slower IE6). I have changed all overflow properties to hidden. The above js didnt work for me.

I removed the 200px height but as the width needs to be specified for me, the horizontal scrollbar is still appearing

Can anyone suggest a solution?

Hi,

Using 1.1.1 and trying to bind the slider event to a link in a google map infowindow (=pop up bubble when you click on a marker)

The problem is the link in the info window is dynamically created on the fly in the DOM when you click on the marker so the a.cross-link hook is not available to be *hooked* up.

When the new a.cross-link element has been added to the DOM a domready event is fired.

How would I bind the coda function to all new a.cross-link elements automaticly when the domready event is fired?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi Niall,

Really love this script. For a project I am currently working on I have modal windows popping from the slider and upon closing the modals, it forces a page refresh. I was wondering if it is possible to disable the preloader because as it is now it does not flow so well with all of the forced reloads. Do you have any thoughts on a good way to do this with your script. Thanks so much for sharing this !

Hi Niall,

it is completely wonderful what you are doing!!!! Thanks a lot!

Just one more thing:
1- Would it possible that when it is auto-rotating, it could be visible which tab is active at the moment ? ( like it is a:active )
2- And also when the user click to the tab, it stops rotating and goes to the tab selected ?

If you could think about it, I will be more than thankful !

Very nice script!!

But how to make it auto rotate? e.g go to the next panel every 5 seconds automatically.

Thanks

Hi Niall,

I think I am coming close to resolving what I want.
http://pikedesignstudio.com/new/solutions/interactive2.shtml

The text and image containers are separate width div's but contained in the slider. The thumbnails are in a div with absolute positioning that don't slide.

Thanks for all your feedback and the great script.

Hi Niall,

I've tried implementing my slider into a page I am working on.
http://pikedesignstudio.com/new/solutions/interactive2.shtml

However when you click (or rollover) on an arrow it links to the full page [http://pikedesignstudio.com/new/solutions/interactive2.shtml#2] rather than the title "Go to panel #2" like on my test page
http://pikedesignstudio.com/new/solutions/interactive1.shtml

You can see what occurs when you click on an arrow on the 'interactive2.shtml' page.

Sorry, I don't think I am following on the call in the section since we were talking about 'slider 1' and 'slider 2'. Are you saying that if I have two sliders each with their own id I will need a separate Javascript file for each?

thanks
